What inspired you to start Verybadporn.com?
I saw a lot of amateur porn. Like, I'd watch a lot of it. And it seemed pretty easy, in general. They just have a camera, and they've got the girls, and we already had a camera. We just needed to get girls. I figured it'd be a good way to make money. I think every guy kinda wants to be a porn star and I'm a guy, so it was a natural thing.

Yeah, it's pretty badass porn. There's not a lot of porn URLs out there. You'd actually be pretty surprised. We looked for hotchicks.com and really searched through a lot of domain names. We got superhotsexwithgirls.info, but that one crashed. That was one of the ones that was available and we wanted it to be super hot. Just some really bad ass porno.

Your site seems to be just you having sex with hot ladies, but did you consider having a theme like you having sex with hot nurses or hot schoolteachers?
We try to do everything. There's a MILF video, which actually ended up being pretty bad for me, but I think it still had some good parts. We try to do all sorts of different stuff. My friend Dylan Thomas is the director and that’s for sure. One friend of mine is the scriptwriter for it, so he writes the scenarios, helps on set, and there's always a boom mic operator. We have an AD, Scott, but he doesn't do a whole lot. Usually we just have to keep him out of the shots because he gets into a lot of the shots. You just need a camera guy, me, and however many hot girls. If it's a huge orgy thing, then you need a lot of people. You need like five people.

Where do you usually find the hot girls?
We do it all different ways. There's a lot of literature on it that I read up on. You can put ads in Craigslist, and for a while we had an ad in Craigslist that said, "Come to a model audition calendar shoot," but then the first girl came, this girl melody, and got super mad. She was like really pissed off and I felt so bad about misrepresenting what we're doing. We changed the ad to explicitly say, "Come have sex for money with me. You know, it's not necessarily a lot of money, but we can talk about the money." We haven't really gotten many responses for that one. You can also put ads in the paper and we drive around sometimes and just ask people, although that's led to a couple of run ins with the police. Definitely, there's tons of ways. Were you nervous when it was time to do your first scene?
Yeah. I still get nervous before every scene and after certain scenes. Some scenes still I'll be nervous for an hour, three hours, and on into the evening.

What do you do to get in the right mental state to perform?
I watched a documentary on Rob Jeremy and he has his own thing and I think different people have their own things. Sometimes I'll go into the bathroom and I'll just look into the mirror and be like, "You're the fucking man. You can do this. You're definitely going to maintain an erection today. You can do it. You've got to get out there. Get out there and do it with this girl." Just a lot of talking to the mirror loudly. That usually really works. Well, sometimes it's hard because we usually have only one bathroom in the hotel room and you can't even imagine how many people have to go to the bathroom when you've got like six or ten people on set. A lot of times I'll be interrupted and I'll have to leave and then I want to come back in but somebody's trying to go to the bathroom. It's hard to concentrate if it breaks it up. Sometimes it doesn't work so well.

Do hotels have any qualms with you filming movies in their rooms?
We don't usually tell them, which can sometimes be hard because if a hotel manager knocks or sometimes we order room service and we forget to stop the scene in the middle of it so then you've got some guy coming up with Croissandwiches and we're in the middle of having sex. That can be a bad thing, but a lot of hotels, I feel, turn a blind eye.

Once you get into porn star mode, is that hard to turn off?
I try to leave my work at home. Or, at a hotel. I try to leave my work at a hotel. A lot of times when I'm out I'm not just thinking about sex. Like, at a diner I'm thinking about, "What am I going to order?" and just try to become friends with the waitress and maybe later I'll ask her if she wants to have sex with me on the Internet site, but that just depends on if we hit it off.

How do your friends and family feel about your profession?
That's one of the hardest things. My dad is pretty pissed. He's not into it, and my mom is really supportive in general. But it's almost like she's too in support of that whole world. That's actually pretty awkward. I don't want to talk about it that much. It's hard and you have certain friends that are like, "What are you doing, you know?" But if you really wanna go for something I feel like, in America, you have to really go for it. It's America. You've seen MTV Cribs and stuff like that. You shouldn't be an actor, Ludicrous," which I actually agree with, but they just say, "You can't do this," and you just gotta do it. It's something that I really wanted to do and I went after it and I feel like if people say that they want to hate on me, like a player hatter or a porn hatter, then I just gotta keep going.

Growing up, what was your introduction to porn?
First porn I saw was a pretty weird porno. It was a circus porn with a midget in it. Then I saw another one with Peter North and he was a detective. He unzipped his pants, took out his thing, and said, "This is a lethal weapon." I remember thinking, "Wow, he's acting and about to have sex with this girl." I've been watching it since I've been really young for sure. Then, when it started getting on the Internet then I watched it a lot more.

Do you think more should be done to keep Internet porn out of the hands of kids?
I think it's doing enough. I think people get really crazy about preventing people from watching pornography. I'm not trying to push what I do on other people. You wouldn't have a baseball player pushing baseball on kids. Well, I guess there's little league and stuff. That's a bad analogy, but you know what I mean, I think.

Some people argue that pornography is demeaning toward women. What is your response to that criticism?
We try to make our stuff super hot for both sexes. We want men and women to both like what we're doing. The last thing that I ever want to do is be exploitative to women in any shape or form. I'm always trying to make these girls feel good and that's just the way I was brought up, for sure. Oh boy. Jeez. A lot. The Simpsons, Grays Anatomy, Bill Nye the Science Guy. The list goes on and on.

You mentioned that you don't watch much TV. What do you like to do in you free time?
I look at a lot of other porno to be up to date with my peers and competitors. I listen to a lot of hip-hop and go out and try to get into clubs with friends. I go to bars. Lately I've been reading a lot more. I'm especially into ethnic divergence and conflict through out history. Stuff like that.

Are there any trends in the adult entertainment industry that you'd like to comment on?
There has been a slight trend of putting your member through food. I saw a site, Big Sausage Pizza, and he puts his penis through a pizza and sort of delivers it. I think that's a very different sort of genre and it's a whole thing and we've been talking a lot about should we do that with a sandwich or a salad, a garden salad.
